DPCat is a program that can create catalogs of your digital photos.
Once the catalogs are created, the program offers features to locate a given image according to any search criteria. You can search images saved in a given month, or year, or day.
The user can create a catalog just indicating to the program which folder (and perhaps subfolders) should it scan. DPCat will look for images in those folders, and will retrieve all the information about those images. Once the catalog is built, users will be able to view and edit all the data about the images, such as its name, size, path, dimensions, etc. It is also possible to view and edit the EXIF and IPTF information.
While viewing the catalog, users can sort the thumbnails as they prefer (name, size, type, date, rating) in ascending or descending order. The users can view a bigger picture by double-clicking on any thumbnail. Doing this they will trigger a preview feature where they can display all the images in the catalog one by one.
